The Muskego American Legion Post 356 & Post 356 Auxiliary awarded three more Muskego–Norway School District Muskego High School 2026 Senior students’ scholarships. Leif Young, Mackenzie Choinski, and Evelyn Westphal each received $1,000 for the accredited post-secondary institution they will be attending.

Leif will be attending Marquette University to study Political Science and History.

Mackenzie will also be attending Marquette University to study nursing. She would like to focus on pediatrics.

Evelyn will be attending the University of Iowa to study biology.
How the Program Works
Purpose:
To provide scholarships to deserving Muskego High School graduating seniors interested in or intending to pursue post-high school courses of study at either a college/university or other post-secondary educational institution.
Award Components:
Three - $1,000 scholarships awarded to the students selected by the American Legion/American Legion Auxiliary Post 356 Scholarship Committee.
Criteria:
Must be a United States citizen.
Must be graduating from Muskego High School.
Must be a son, stepson, grandson, great-grandson, daughter, stepdaughter, granddaughter, or great-granddaughter of a current or previous member of a branch of the United States Military, including the United States Coast Guard.
**Identify the relationship and branch of service in your essay on Patriotism. **
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (or class ranking in the top 15%) and submit a transcript of credits.
